This will be the first time that Ariana and Amelia (buyers for Ampersand) will be attending the Atlanta Gift Show! Make sure to follow the Ampersand twitter account for updates on what the girls are finding at the show!
You can also follow Ariana on Instagram at A_Christoffers, be sure to check it out as well! Below are some pictures from a recent party that Ariana and Amelia attended and which Christoffers did the flowers for! The theme for the occasion was an English tea party, bow ties and fascinators appreciated!
I came across Adriana’s website the other day and haven’t been able to stop obsessing over it since! The native Colombian illustrator has a childlike sense of color and form that fascinates me, I also dig the cheetah denim button down (something I would totally purchase if available!) The idea of drawing on your clothes is a great one, I might have to try a few of my own sketches out on my classic white GAP tee’s! Here are some examples of Adriana’s work! Which one is your favorite?
I recently hosted a birthday party, needing some decorations I went to my local party store. The prices were crazy! instead I just hopped on Pinterest and typed in DIY and Party and I got some great inspirations! Here’s a cool one that can easily transform any ordinary string of lights into the perfect party-making atmosphere!
Here’s what you need:
- a pack of 100 Dixie Cups
- scissors and an X-acto knife
- scrapbook paper in desired colors
- white Christmas lights (LED is best)
- double sided tape
- a pencil

Living near the Watchung Reservation in NJ, I have been raised to love the outdoors. One of my dreams is to live on acres of woodland in a cabin, I even started a board on my Pinterest dedicated to pictures of cabins! Here are a few that I’ve picked out for you! What’s your dream home like?
You wouldn’t necessarily be able to live in this last one but I love it anyways!
This Thursday I visited Blue Moon Acres farm store in Pennington New Jersey on their opening day. The timber frame barn house was filled with the farms organic produce and other delicious local products.
Today when I was trying to decide what to make for lunch I realized I had bought all the ingredients to make a BLT at the farm store, so thats exactly what I made. I even whipped up some homemade mayonnaise! I used this recipe that I saw in the New York Times two weeks ago.
